“Play with phones”: the multiplayer mode
In bar mode, “Play with phones” turns one phone into a game for the whole table: everyone plays on their own phone.
- Open a room. The host taps “Play with phones” in bar mode, then “Open room”. The phone shows a QR code and a five-letter code.
- Join without the app. Everyone else scans the QR code or goes to datingkpis.com/bar and types in the code. A nickname, and they are in. No download, no account.
- Play. Each round appears on every phone at once. Everyone answers for themselves, hidden from the others; the reveal and the penalty points show up on all phones.
No phone? Still in. The host adds players without a phone by name under “Without their own phone”. When it is their turn, they enter their answer on the host’s phone. Phones and pass-the-phone players mix freely at the same table.
No signal in the bar? Then one phone goes round the table, as in the classic mode. Stored is only your nickname and your answer to the current round, and only until the game ends.
